By downloading, installing, or using Unbean ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Unbean is a personal wellness app designed to help users track their caffeine-free streak, monitor habits, and stay motivated through gamification features including a mascot character ("Bean"), milestone celebrations, and progress tracking.

3. Not Medical Advice

Unbean is not a medical application. The content provided within the App, including tips, messages, and streak information, is for motivational and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have health concerns related to caffeine consumption or withdrawal, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet or habits.

4. Subscription

Unbean is a subscription app. Access to the app requires an active subscription, which normally begins with a free trial. Users who installed Unbean before August 2026, when the app was free to use, keep their free access.

The following terms apply to subscriptions:

Where a free trial is offered, its length, the price that follows it and the date of the first charge are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Those details are read from the App Store or Google Play at the moment you see them, so they are always the ones that apply to you.
After any trial period, the subscription automatically renews at the selected price (monthly or annual) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Refunds are handled according to the policies of Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where the subscription was purchased
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription, where applicable

5. User Responsibilities

By using Unbean, you agree to:

Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
Not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

All content within Unbean, including the Bean mascot, design, graphics, and text, is owned by Anthony Delmotte and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Unbean is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anthony Delmotte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated terms within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law
